Karen + Roni

Super excited to be sharing this one! I was honoured that Karen and Roni had me along to document their day.

Their wedding day started with a relaxed prep for both the girls and the boys. Karen and her ladies were at the Pullman hotel and Karen was dressed in a beautifully crafted Jason Grech gown.

Roni and the boys got ready at the couple’s house – with a home gym making a perfect portrait location and their dog Harley getting in on the action whenever he could. We were off to Ripponlea next for their very moving ceremony. A string quartet set the tone and we were treated to the backstory of Karen and Roni as a couple – who’d have thought that a blown engine could cement a relationship? We also had a guest appearance by Harley as ring bearer.

The reception had a touch of the traditional and a splash of colour with a tea ceremony to start. Later, the couple performed a rather splendid first dance and the night was rounded off with some less conventional dance moves by the guests. 🙂

Here’s how we saw the day unfold…
